“This is an amazing place to stay!! The brothers who run the place made me feel so very welcome and at home. Rooms are clean, service great, and the restaurant that they run is a gem!! Great food. The whole experience is great value for what you get! I highly recommend!!”
“We stayed at Hostal Doris for a week and had a very relaxing time. The hosts, Juan and Tomeu, are both very attentive and responsible — they really care about their guests. You can tell they truly love their hostal and are putting a lot of heart into it. The interior is a mix of old-school charm and some recent renovations, and you can see they’re still working on improving things step by step. Downstairs, there’s a restaurant / bar where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat — and it looks like more is coming soon. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed — perfect for people who want to unwind rather than party. Thank you to both hosts!”
“The cafe serves delicious, fresh food and good drinks. The two owners, brothers, rarely let their guests out of their sight and anticipate almost every wish. The hotel itself is very well maintained, always clean, fully funktional and located central between harbour and beach - all in all, an excellent little establishment in the heart of Colonia. “I highly recommend this hostel! It is run by two friendly brothers who give you an incredible welcome. The service couldn’t be better, the rooms are clean and food and drinks don’t leave any wishes unfulfilled (also as an vegetarian). Shops, supermarkets and even the beach can be reached by foot and the bus station to Palma or Campos is just 180 meters away.”
“We loved staying at Hostal Doris! You can really tell the hosts put so much heart in what they do, and it translates to a great time staying at their place. Really great accommodation, terrace is a must during sunset. Location is also great— town is lively but also calm at night. We will definitely return again when visiting Mallorca.”
